Application

All actors applying to Lyric are required to submit a brief letter of intent, describing "Why you act & Why you would like to train at Lyric.” If you are a working actor, a headshot and resume must be included with your letter/application. Please do not submit demo reels. If you are a beginning actor and do not have a headshot and/or resume, you are only expected to submit your letter of intent.

Interview/Audition

Once your application is received, you will be contacted about an interview date and time. Interviews are held during the regular curriculum period January to November. (We are officially closed during the months of August and December.) Interviews run approximately 15 minutes.

Please prepare a 1-2 minute monologue of your choice from film or stage. Those applying to the Lyric Studio Essentials program do not have to prepare a monologue for the interview.
